I am slightly delirious right now because I haven't slept in so long, but I wanted to let you know that I camped out to see Gaga perform on the Today Show this morning. [link] That's right! I rested my head on the warm Manhattan concrete, staring up to the star-less sky.. my black heart comforted by thoughts of Gaga!
I arrived to this the day before:

Little Monsters had been camped out since Wednesday!
I thought sitting through the night was going to be the hard part, but it turns out that I was sitting next to some beautiful and sweet people. They were so amazing and generous with their friendship; they encompassed so much of the Gaga fandom that is fun and risky and emotionally epic and I absolutely loved being in their company! I had my sketchbook with me, so I drew them some Lady Gaga fanart! I must have done about eight in total, but here's three I snagged a quick cellphone pic of:

She looked so powerful there! Like Rockefeller Center was her Fortress of Solitude; absolutely vindicating.
Also, the sky opened up during the last song of her set, Teeth:

It felt so wonderful and complete.
I'm so happy I got to see her again; especially in the summer!

Oooh, did you see her in concert?
Yes! I saw her in Indianapolis last Thursday, and my group was so close to the stage we could have reached out and touched her. Her dancers were amazing, and she made me feel like a talentless piece of human waste. I'm going to try and see her again in March.
